About Us
TechnoVision started off with providing mechanical engineering services to automobile, household appliances, defense, heavy engineering etc. To-day we have on our clients list Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Eicher Motors Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Kanchan Home Appliances Pvt. Ltd. to name a few. At around 2004 we looked at the Jewelry Industry and made a proper study. TechnoVision had been serving the Jewelry industry by way of selling the designer software for quite some time. After understanding the business potential and the feasibility, we started the Jewelry Division. Today we have two divisions the Mechanical Engineering Projects division and the Jewelry division.

Building 3D objects directly from the computer models without going thru the tedious and time consuming manufacturing steps such as process planning and tool manufacturing was merely science fiction until recently. A fairly recent and fascinating technology called Rapid Prototyping (RP) has made this a reality. Manufacture of complex 3D objects using RP is as easy and simple as printing or 3D Faxing machines. Robots are automatic only when the fool-proof paths are available whereas RP machines are truly automatic as they require only a valid definition of the object geometry. Organizations faced with fierce global competition can no longer remain complacent with their current level of performance. They have to be abreast with the latest technology as they are the weapons to beat competition. Time is an important resource just as the precious human skill. Rapid Prototyping and Tooling (RP&T) is the mantra for time compression. |

The manufacturer either gives a picture or rough sketch of the design desired along with the bio-data i.e. size of stone, type of setting, desired sizes of different parts etc. The designer based on the information then creates the design on the computer. Since the images created are 3D with the dimensions, the same can be shown to the manufacturer and his production manager for confirmations. Any changes/modifications can be made at this stage. On getting the confirmation the file in the form of STL format is loaded to the RP machine. The RP machine then prints the images and delivers a resin output. The resin output is then put thru Investment casting process and converted to Silver Master. In short the stages are : |

Create a design and the required bio-data on paper |
The designer creates the image on the computer |
The manufacturer/production manager confirms after checking the image on the computer |
Load file on the RP machine and get the resin output |

Put the resin output thru casting process to procure silver master |
